Girl's Level 5 Team Classes at Elite
Level 5 is for girls
who have either progressed up from the Level 4 class or have been evaluated by
one of our head coaches and recommended to this class. Level 5
is a competition level where the gymnasts practice three days per week for four
hours each day. Practice hours for Level 5 are listed above.
Emphasis is placed
on strength, flexibility, perfecting the Level 5 compulsory competition
routines, and learning the Level 6 competition skills. This insures that, when
a gymnast progresses into Level 6, she is ready to compete at that level. Level
5 gymnasts are evaluated periodically throughout the year to determine their
readiness to progress to Level 6.
Competitions begin
in September and continue through April. Competition involves travel within the
San Diego/Los Angeles area.
FAQ's
Is there a registration fee? Yes. There is a $35 registration fee for all classes at Elite. This is the cost to have the children insured while in class. The registration fee is due in May. It is prorated throughout the year for new enrollments.
When is tuition due? Tuition is due on or before the 1st of each month. Tuition paid after the 1st will incur late fees.
What should the students wear?
Girls are required wear a leotard and spandex shorts/leggings may be worn as
well.
What happens if I miss a class? We
have a very liberal make up policy at Elite. Missed Level 5 workouts can be made up
during any of our Tumbling Classes (depending on skill level) or during
the Saturday optional practice time. Please note that Level 5 gymnasts who do a
make up during the Saturday Optional practice will be given an assignment to
work on their own. Make ups must be
completed within one month of the class that was missed. We ask that you call
ahead for a make up to ensure that we have enough staff on hand.
Is there anything else I should
know? Just that you're going to have a great time, so come on
