Level 2 is for girls who have either progressed up from the Level 1 class or have been evaluated by one of our head
coaches and recommended to this class. Level 2 is an intermediate training team
where the gymnasts practice two times per week for one and a half hours per
day.
Emphasis is placed on strength,
flexibility, and skill progression. The lesson plans follow the USA Gymnastics
Level Three curriculum, and gymnasts will learn their back handsprings in
this level!
Level 2 gymnasts are evaluated every 8 weeks to
determine if they are ready to progress to the next level.
FAQ's
Is there a registration fee? Yes. There is a $35
registration fee for all classes at Elite. This is the cost to have the
children insured while in class. The registration fee is due in May. It is
prorated throughout the year for new enrollments.
When is tuition due? Tuition is due on or before the
1st of each month. Tuition paid after the 1st will incur late fees.
What should the students wear? We recommend the girls
wear a leotard or shorts and a T-shirt. Just make sure it's loose enough for
them to move around, but snug enough that it won't get in their way.
What happens if I miss a class? We have a very liberal
make up policy at Elite. Missed Level 2 workouts can be made up on an hour-for-hour basis during any of our Beginning Tumbling or Intermediate Tumbling (depending on
skill level) class times. Make ups
must be completed within one month of the class that was missed. We ask that
you call ahead for a make up to ensure that we have enough staff on
hand.
Is there anything else I should know? Just that you're
going to have a great time, so come on in!
